Following a stroke or other serious injury, there is often an extended period of time required for the body to heal. This is particularly true when the injury involves the nervous system. Previously active people find themselves with considerable amounts of time on their hands with a long road of recovery ahead of them.
During this process, patients will require not only physical support and therapy, but also tools that will aid in emotional, mental and psychological healing as well. It may not always be possible for a patient to be assisted by the Caregiver or to have a family member with them.
It is with this in mind that we would like to put forth a new concept in the area of support tools in rehabilitation.
